Specific Job Experience: Electrical
Supervising Journeyman Electrician with Gulf Electric Svc. Co.
Most recently; I ran data raceway in wings A thru D on the new Downtown School (125,000 Sq Ft) I also participated in the ground rough in wings E thru H and ran the underground for the main service.
Initially I worked on several local projects including; the remodel and addition to the PJC main campus library, and two projects on Eglin Air Force Base, as well as two other school additions.
I was then sent to Petersburg, Va., where I was assigned the duties of electrical foreman; on the Five Forks Battlefield Monument & Visitor's Center -- a job for
the National Parks Service. Again this job included the complete span of electrical work elements -- but had the distinction of providing experience with many 'state of the art' systems for Lighting Control, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Alarm, Data/Com and
Fire Pump Control. Additionally I received training for installation & programming by the Simplex rep.
Subsequently I was assigned as lead electrician on the new ECUA administrative building -- a 50,000sq ft building which included industrial shops, laboratories, a safe area for emergency operations, as well as executive offices and class rooms. I participated in some of the underground work, and was made responsible for all the above ground work which included a 1200A 3P 480V draw out transfer switch (for redundant power supply) 20 other pieces of switchgear and cabinets, 7 transformers, and a 30KW UPS.
Developed forms and worksheets; which provided & recorded information for raceway mapping.
As a temporary journeyman electrician
In yet another project on Eglin Air Force Base; I installed "secure & tamperproof data / com raceway" for the new 77th Special Forces complex. (a million sq ft site)
At the new East Milton, Boise Cascade Distribution center (100,000 sq. ft. job) I helped finish the lighting including the offices -- high-bay warehouse -- exterior and parking lot lighting. Also ran and terminated various lighting control circuits.
The Orange Beach Publix Store and shopping center. Worked extensively on a wide variety of assignments for 10 weeks. Set service equipment and transformers, specialized lighting control, A/C and refrigeration
Please See next page for experience in other trades. See the final page of this resume
for a more complete list of other projects that I participated in, at various levels.

For the Architect, Greg Ustivenes
On the Snug Harbor Condominiums, I was assigned to special projects for a 12 story 90 unit condo, where I responded directly to the architect, effecting changes & corrections. Initially I performed interior and exterior steel stud framing as part of a 5 man team. I participated in lay-out both on the unit and structural level. Later worked solo, setting up & operating an on-site pre-fab shop for both wood and steel applications, where I milled and installed, all 600 sets of door and window bucks, as well as the 200' of balcony chases on each of the 12 floors, also pre-fabbed, roof components, built all the soffets, and gables, did some PVC drain work and minor HVAC duct work. I also helped coordinate and facilitate activities with the electrical contractor. Hung drywall and exterior sheeting products. Often I was called upon to work extended or unusual hours to facilitate the work of others.
